CBSE has issued notification of UGC Net Exam Pattern 2018. The pattern of this examination has changed for the first time. This time there will be two papers instead of three. There have been many other important changes. Candidates will be easy to qualify for UGC net.

Online Application Date: 05 March 2018
Last Date of Online Application: 05 April 2018
Last date for submitting online fees: 06 April 2018
Date of correction in application: 25 April to 01 May 2018
Date of organizing UGC Net: 08 July 2018
This qualification is necessary –
Applicants must have at least 55 percent marks in post-graduation. This Criteria is reserved for 50 percent of the reserved category.
Such Ph.D. holders whose post graduation may have been completed by September 19, 1991, they will have five percent discount in this Criteria.
Applicant should not be more than 30 years of age on July 01, 22018 for Junior Research Fellowship.
There is no age limit for Assistant Professor.

General: Rs 1000
OBC: Rs 500
SC, ST, Transgender: Rs 250
This will be the Exam pattern –
This time the UGC Net Exam will have two papers instead of three. The first paper will be of 100 marks, in which 50 questions will be asked. This paper must be solved in one hour. The second paper will be of 200 marks, in which 100 questions will be asked. This paper has to be solved in two hours.
In order to qualify for the exam, the OBC will have to bring at least 40-40 consecutive marks to both paper, whereas Criteria for SC, ST, PH is 35 percent marks.
